We’ve been in the business of hospitality since 1831.

Our rooms are there for city nights, countryside escapes, whistle-stop work trips and long weekends away. There are vast ones, cosy ones, lofty listed building ones, quirky modern ones, and everything in between. Like our pubs, no two are the same, and each is a character.

You’ll find our rooms above and beside our pubs dotted around England. Because of our London roots, we have lots there, but we’re branching out as we can’t resist idyllic getaways to the Cotswolds and the West Country.

We’re all about character. We always have been, and always will be. Our rooms are a mixture of traditional beauty, charming details, genuine value, and from-the-heart hospitality. From boutique rooms with rolltop tubs to up-in-the-loft rooms that are ever so snug. Each of our bedrooms is unique because each one of our pubs is wonderfully different. The only things that come as standard are comfort and quality, tasteful trimmings, and our thoughtful little touches.

And having a buzzing pub downstairs is the magic of it all. Great food and drink, community spirit, tall tales, and fireside dogs – it’s all right there for you to enjoy.

We’re originally from London. So, you’ll find lots of our pubs with rooms scattered around the capital. But we’re also in Bristol, Cheltenham, Exeter, and more.

Our Bedrooms

Our comfy bedrooms are just that, wonderfully comfy. Cool and classic inn design, with all the essentials you’d need for a lovely stay.

Hypnos beds are standard in almost all of our rooms (which means a good sleep tends to be, too). And every room is home to an ensuite bathroom, TV, overflowing snack basket (for those peckish moments when the pub is that few too many steps away), tea and coffee, salon-quality hairdryer, iron and board, and of course, complimentary Wi-Fi.
