British Beef week at the Windmill

What can we say, we love beef! We pop it into our favourite award winning pies, we serve it up in the best roast dinners found in Mayfair, we sandwich it in fresh bread, we grill it to order, we just absolutely love all things beef so how could we not celebrate British Beef Week here at The Windmill!

 

 

Kicking off from St George’s Day on 23rd April and running right the way through to 1st May we are going to be shouting about all of our succulent, scrumptious beef dishes with a special shout out going to our award winning, show-stopping Steak and Mushroom and Steak and Kidney resident pies. They really are the beef diggity and are without question the finest way to celebrate British Beef Week.

 

It would be impossible to go wild for our beef filled pies without giving a shoutout to our amazing butchers who have been packing our pies with the best meat in the game since 2010. Ordinarily we would start the introductions with a terrible beef joke but we fear we would only butcher it so instead let’s hand you over to John who has worked at our butchers, Solent Butchers for the last two years:
