We booked in for lunch on Boxing Day at 1.45 pm. Now I kid you not tbe pub was absolutely heaving as there were morris dancers dancing outside. ( they were very good!) We were nicely welcomed & sat at our table which was a little oasis of calm. Considering how busy tbe pub was our food arrived without delay & was absolutely beautiful. We had massive fish & chips & burgers. The wine was delicious & our South African waitress was lovely. We were not rushed . Thank you Andrew for being such a great host.-27th December 2023

We had a great Christmas Day experience. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. There were a lot of extras that we did not expect but were very much appreciated. This was my 2nd Christmas Day Lunch at the Hand in Hand and I hope to make a third next year.-27th December 2023

Had Christmas get together with work colleagues on Friday night.The staff were amazing,even though it was very busy.Fish and chips were ordered by 6 of us,they were absolutely delicious..Beer was good,atmosphere lovely.Have booked for New Year's Day evening...Cant wait :)-13th December 2023

Looking for an intimate gathering over the festive period? Why not enquire about our Study - an inviting space which gives privacy whilst showing the action of the pub. Max 8 people.

The Garden Room

Our Garden Room is situated at the front of the pub. Overlooking the lushious Wimbledon Common it offers a fantastic private area - the ideal space for a Christmas get together. Max 15 people.

The Farriers

A semi-private space which offers an intimate atmosphere, lending itself perfect to those colder nights. The perfect area for a festive feast. Max 20 people.
