We may not be blessed with the best weather in the UK, but one thing we do right is the great British beer garden. Whilst the return of indoor hospitality was warmly welcomed by many, enjoying a nice cold beer on a warm summer’s day in the garden remains an institutional summer pastime.
In fact, meeting at the pub on a sunny day has become such a staple in our culture, that some pubs have introduced advanced booking on outside seating. As soon as the sun comes out, we are eager to secure a table and lap up the sun whilst enjoying a cool glass of something or pint of ale in hand.
Whilst London might not be the most obvious destination to go when it is hot and sunny outside, anyone that knows the city well will be able to tell you that the capital comes alive (even more so!) during the warmer months. The capital is full of places to soak up the rays, enjoy alfresco dining, bumble through outdoor markets, or simply meet friends in bustling beer gardens.
So without further ado we have rounded up some of our favourite beer gardens around the city and why it is worth paying them a visit this summer! From stylish to laid back, Youngs pubs have a wonderful mix of pubs in trendy locations, perfect for meeting friends and family al fresco!
